Gracie Barra Thousand Oaks Heads to the CompNet US Nationals 2024 in Orange, CA
As we approach the final Gracie Barra tournament of the year, Gracie Barra Thousand Oaks is excited to announce that we are bringing a dedicated team of competitors to the Jiu-Jitsu CompNet US Nationals 2024. With a team composed mostly of kids and a few adults, our athletes are ready to showcase their skills and represent the values that drive our school.
2024 has been an extraordinary year for us, placing among the top 5 schools overall, with our kids’ team taking first place overall at the last CompNet edition. These accomplishments reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and coaches, but more importantly, they align with our school’s core mission: empowering individuals through the art of Jiu-Jitsu.
At Gracie Barra Thousand Oaks, we believe Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone, not just for high-level competitors. While we take pride in our athletes’ achievements, our greatest success lies in helping our students—especially kids—grow in confidence, discipline, and resilience both on and off the mats. Whether they are stepping into competition or simply learning through practice, the ultimate goal is to foster personal growth and instill valuable life skills.
